Are you someone who enjoys improving systems that are a bit rough around the edges, where you can put your stamp on things and be trusted to run with it? Have you thought about doing that in a company which places the improvement of mental health treatment and research at the forefront of their ethos?

This is a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineering role in a mission-driven business that supports the NHS – they’re not just another startup burning through VC cash. Instead of chasing vanity metrics, they’ve been thinking about cost and scale from day one. Their commercial work helps fund the platform, and they’re committed to making tech work better in healthcare and beyond.

You’ll own the infrastructure piece as they move from EC2 to EKS, refactor Terraform, and build clean, repeatable architecture from the ground up. There’s a lot of autonomy here, and a real opportunity to leave your mark on a cloud strategy that’s still evolving. Ultimately, the team heavily values calmness, clear communication, and getting stuck in without ego.

Tech Stack:

  • Terraform
  • Kubernetes
  • AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda)
  • Jenkins / ArgoCD (other CI/CD tools are acceptable)
  • Prometheus / Grafana
  • Python & Bash

  • Hybrid role (2 days per week, one day must be in Oxford – the team also have an office in London)
  • 3 stage interview process
  • Salary up to £70,000 (potentially flexible)
