The term ‘Rockstar’ is often used when people describe good software engineers. How about building software for real Rockstar’s? Some of the biggest names in the music industry?
I know what you’re like, you do your research, you look online to see what other rockers are saying about this company, it doesn’t look great to be honest, all of the red flags are there, lack of progress and that horrible term ‘legacy code’ and ‘maintenance’.
Things are changing though, imagine being part of the journey know? You’ll soon be singing your heart out at how great it is, working for inspirational people like the new CTO who is ex-Google. He’s got some awesome ideas but wants to hear what YOU have to say!
The legacy isn’t over, but better times are on the horizon, times where you have free reign to pick technologies as long as you can justify why. You’ve always had Java in your band but other languages interest you as well and a lean towards being more polyglot excites you. It won’t be long until you have greenfield projects and Microservices to build using Java 11, Spring, AWS, TDD and other languages.
If these sound like you then this is the place
